[COLOR="DarkRed"]I beg to differ a bit on the Amirs. They are actually worth about $75-85. They have a bit of a cult following, truth be told. 18's fetch $75, and 20" rides get into the $100 range....You are correct, they are older series Amirs...they actually were pretty good B8 alloy rock cymbals.
It's kinda hilarious...actually, the Amirs were by far the BEST B8 alloy cymbals Zildjian ever made (there are a lotta low cards in that hand ~ ZBT, Scimitar Bronze, Edge, ZXT...eesh.....). I have come across many and they are pretty darn decent.
I agree, the Paiste is worth zero; Old Paiste Ludwigs were NS12 alloy (nickelbronze)...very soft metal with not a great sound, and oftentimes you find them with the sh#t kicked out of 'em...so, there you have one.
The ZBT worth about $20. The Wuhan is worth about $40-50, the other china about $30 or so.
The 17" Zildjian, per the stamp, is a 1970's era one...depending on weight worth between $70-100 or so.
The A Custom 17" is worth about $90-100. That A Custom Ping, about $125 or so.
The 20" A. Zildjian cracked is worth $zero..seriously, the worst possible location for a crack (sorry to say). Too bad, it's stamp reveals it to be a '60's cymbal....
The 22" is also a 60's and from your description of the sound, it's probably a medium-towards-thin at least, which is great...those are classic old rides ! $150-75 if in good shape.
Measure the height of the stamp from the top of the Arabic lettering to the bottom of the English lettering "Made in USA". That will determine whether they are early 60's or late '60's....
1-3/16" tall = early 60's....1-1/2" tall = later 60's.
If I had those, I'd keep the Amir 'hats, the A. Zildjian 17", 22" ride, and the A Custom Fast crash.....all of those are decent to very good cymbals.
Given the brightness of B8 alloy, you can decide for yourself whether the Amirs fit with all the others, which are B20 alloy. If you are interested in selling the Amirs, PM or e-mail me.
Do what you want with the rest.....the Wuhan or other china, eh, it's always nice to have a china around....decide which one is more appropriate for your playing and sell the other one (?) The ZBT...eh, maybe keep it as an auxiliary bottom 'hat.
(The cracked Avedis...well....you can actually take some sandpaper or a dremel or file and file the cracked area so it no longer rubs against itself, then find the 2 ends of the crack with a magnifying glass and drill holes at the ends with a metal drillbit..this will keep the crack from spreading. Then, it'll at least be usable with no nasty grating sound...or, you can even stick 2 rivets in each drill-hole and make a sizzle ride out of it).
Some folks go gaga over the A Custom Ping, but yeow.....it's way too headbangin' guitar2 for me....
..so it would be my leading candidate for liquidating into ca$hola....
All in all, yeah, a pretty good deal, indeed !!!...I mean, w/ all those cymbals, the hardware and stands and pedals....it's like getting the actual drum kit for about $10.....Walking
PS ~ if you wanna get the green stuff off of the cymbals...Wrights Copper Cream...2 or 3 applications, wet the cymbal well... and don't rub too hard ;)
