Need help with Rogers Dynasonic on Ebay

Loading...

Calling all you Rogers experts, There is a 6 1/2 x 14 wood dynasonic currently on Ebay. It is unfortunately had the original wrap removed but otherwise the drum looks nice. I have several questions....Is it real? Since its value has already been hurt by removal of the covering will a new wrap hurt its value more? Is $1500.00 or less crazy for this drum or a good price? Any help would be appreciated.

I looked at this drum on ebay. Whatever happened to it, was a long time ago. You need to ask every question including a positive measurement of the snare bed. You need to know what that is. And contact the people he quotes as authenticating the drum.

What Ploughman said. He's the Rogers guy.The drum refinished, though not common in that depth,is to me not worth that kind of coin. But everybody has that something that the're willing to shoot the moon on.For me,though,it would have to 100% original.

If you like the drum enough and can afford to buy it, then buy it. Don't listen to these drum snobs, they would have you pass up on Ringo's original black oyster pearl kit if one tension rod was missing.Violin

Oh yeah, thats some good advice for you!

These guys on here know their $hit, that's a lot of dough to plunk down on an altered drum no matter how valuable they may be!
