Thin ones weigh less and are very sensitive - valuable.
Thicker ones are more pingy and not so jazz-like - pretty good money.
Super thick ones are relegated to boat anchor duty - pay someone to properly dispose.

how should i go about selling this?
stupid question but ebay is my choice right now
is there some special place that buys this stuff?
Yes. My wife. She buys me all sorts of neato toys.
Barring that ...
You might want to post it here. Take some nice pics of ... wait. Strike that. We really don't need to revisit that whole picture fiasco again.
Tell ya what. Why don't you just post it for sale in the ... get this ... "For Sale" thread ... pretty clever, huh... i know ... slap de man!
That would get you up and running like a bad dog. There are plenty of drummers here that love these old cymbals. We've established the base value (still awaiting the weight to put the final numbers on it). So, that should get you something.
You could also put it up on ebay. There's plenty of mooks out there that love these discs, too.
The best way to sell a cymbal is to post a soundfile or videofile with it. That allows the potential buyer to get an idea of the quality of sound. Everybody has a different set of ears and that can throw a weasel into the well-oiled gears of a deal.
Hope this helps.
ok thank you lol
I am going to the post office tomorrow to weigh it and i will tell you the weight on here
So I went to the post office and found out its weight
2619 grams is the weight of the cymbal
I plugged it in on here and it says its a medium cymbal
So now what is the price so i can post it on ebay?
Figure closer to the low end of that price range.
