Hello everybody!
I have a 1969 Ludwig Tenor Marching Tom (NOT a snare drum).
I would really love to incorporate this into my working kit, this drum is PRISTINE,
but I have never been able to find any heads (REMO? Attack? Anything really)
Just wondering if anyone had any info?
Also I have a 1966 Gretsch snare 14"x5", that I am restoring, have all parts except snare strainer. Any help in locating one would be greatly appreciated.

Remo does offer a 17" head in the ambassador series (coated I believe) but you have to special order it as its usually a non-stocking item at most stores.

I have looked at the REMO website, I never see anything in a 17".
I really would like to use this drum, I have the original green stamped Ludwig heads, but they wouldn't last a day, I'm sure.
The drum is Blue and Gold Sparkle banded. I plan on using it with a '78 Ludwig
32" Concert bass in Blue sparkle, with a 14" marching snare and 12-13-14-15
racks, 16-18 floors. A real monstrosity! lol
