Need advice on Leedy kit

I am looking to buy a 60's Leedy kit with the blue badges. All original except for the front BD hoop. Condition 9/10 in sky blue pearl. 12/ 12/ 16/ 20... Worth $650??

I checked and they called that model the "drum solo outfit no:12"... It retailed @ $620 incl. the snare and hardware. I will go and grab them tomorrow and post pictures.

Keep fixing them up...

Hi drumfx!

This is pretty much the same as the Slingerland Modern Solo 2R. I always loved that kit! The Leedy kit uses Slingerland 3-ply shells with rings and COB hoops on the toms. Hope you get the kit and can post pictures!

$650.00 in 1960 had the same buying power as $5,229.29 in 2016! If it was selling today it would rival high end kits from DW price-wise.

No..... The sound is phenomenal.. I have played a million Gretsch, Rogers, Sling and Ludwig kits but this one is fantastic
