Ha! Makes you want to buy it just for the honesty...and not a bad deal for $5!

I remember one time when I was a kid, we went to Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco and there were tons of people begging for money. One of the last guys we saw had a sign that said, "Why lie? I need a beer!" My dad, being the fellow beer drinker that he is, gave him a couple of bucks with pleasure! Sure made me laugh!

I've since seen other panhandlers with the same MO, but it sort of lost its charm with me after that first time as an impressionable teenager. Nonetheless...sometimes honesty is indeed the best policy!
