For my MIJ stencil kit Stewart bass drum mount. 5/16" or 8mm straight rod, not "L" shaped. Needs to have cymbal mount but doesn't need to tilt. Thanks!

You might be able to find an "alternate" mount.
You can get 3 feet of 5/16" solid metal rod at most hardware stores for about $5 or less. You could cut threads on one end with a thread cutter (you should be able to cut 8mm threading if you want, because 5/16" and 8mm are nearly identical in diameter). You could cut it down enough to hold a sleeve and have room for a wingnut. It wouldn't be chrome, but you could spray paint it matte chrome to match it up. Obviously you could cut it to the length you need.
Not factory "original" but would certainly work, and be readily available and inexpensive.
