mystery Tama snare

Hello,

This is my first post so hopefully this is the correct format. Can anyone help to ID this Tama snare drum. Please tell me what year, model and where I can get the parts needed to put it back together. Thank you for your help.

It's definitely maple, that's for sure. Check drumaker.com for parts. They have all new stuff only. As far as original, can't help you with that one.

Its better to have people think you're an idiot, than to open your mouth and prove them wrong, unless you doubt yourself then speak away....

From the picture, it looks like the edges on top might need some work. I think you should definitely get some parts and play it. I bet that will be a monster snare. The boom of doom. You'll probably need an extra short snare stand to position it low enough. Ludwig makes one and I use it with a field drum. Enjoy!
