Mystery Part

Loading...

I recently picked up a TON of stuff from a guy who had a stash of parts that he had gathered over the years. Loads of heads, lugs, hoops, pedals and stands. Some USA but lots of MIJ stuff and Tama/Pearl stands from the 90's and 2000's. It's been fun sorting through it all, cleaning and fixing up what I can.

It's pretty obvious what most of the random parts are, but there are 4 or 5 of these things and i can't figure out what they are for or from.

It's 2 rods, connected at the top by a hinge. One end is threaded, the other knurled. Longer piece is just over 19" long. Shorter one a few inches shy of that.

Can anyone set me straight what they are from? I have other pictures but I'm thinking this will be obvious to someone with more experience than me.

Thx,

Peter

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

Thanks to all for the input. I am used to seeing single rods in hi hat stands, so that threw me off, but there are a couple of recognizable Slingerland hi hat stand parts in the haul so maybe based on the advice of Jaghog I will do some research and see if I can piece them together.
