Mystery cymbal (Ajaha?)

Loading...

Hi, Folks

I am trying to find out who made this rather heavy 15" cymbal. It has a signature under the bell but no stamp. Looks like it may be an Italian Ajaha? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

And while I am getting my cymbal education, can anyone date this very thin 14" cymbal?

The first example is Italian but its not an Ajaha. That's a Zeltian, a brand which was also Italian, but tried to masquerade as a Constantinople K.

The Zildjian you've got there dates from approx. 1941 to 1946.

Thank you very much for that info. Much appreciated. The date of the Zildjian sounds just right, as it came with a 40's kit. Thanks again! :-)
