Hi,

(Reposted, I put this message in the gallery by mistake)

Sorry the photos aren't better.

This is a metal brush a friend bought sometime between 1964 and 1966. He was gigging around Boston at the time and cannot recall the store but that it was going out of business. So he bought a bunch of these brushes. He is rooting around in no particular hurry to see if he can find the rest.

It has a nub that you push along a channel to open the brushes. When retracted you only have a handle, no rod. The metal handle is painted a dark green. I didn't expect it to sit as comfortably in my hand since it is so much skinnier than typical brushes or sticks. I don't think, based on the diminutive nub, the channel and the green paint, that this handle ever had a rubber sleeve.

The brushes themselves still have a lot of spring or bounce, way more in fact than some of my modern brushes.

Maybe, considering its plain features, it is an econo brush of some sort. Very well made and sturdy if that's the case.

Any ideas?
