Nice site Jaye.band2 Looks very professional with good descriptions.
Very nice looking site, Jaye. Easy to navigate, good pics and great descriptions. I like the name of the site as well.
(My only point of contention would be the price of the Whitehall set, its a bit high in my opinion.)
Nice site - love the colour scheme too!
Great Cool1 looking site Jaye. Nice Drums also.

If you first give a heads up to David or TommyP, they should know the answer...
Very Cool Jaye!!!!!Excited
Love the site.
Are you up for constructive crits?
Change the mic for the camera work on the cymbals. It's auto-leveling, so when you crash the cymbal it sounds choked. The sound cuts down automatically and the listener does not get to hear the actual crash sound and sustain.
The mic work applies to the sax vids, also.
The horn vids are a bit dark.
The background of the cymbal vids are busy. Slip a Japanese room divider immediately behind the cymbal for a quick and easy solution...until you figure out something better.
Video the drums! Especially the kits. If you place your nice sale cymbals with the kit of choice, it would sell both/either/or. Play some nice jazz beats on a well tensioned kit and it sells itself. Same goes for the cymbals. Nice bit of advertising.
Justify the text to give it a more finished look. I'll help you with proofing the text if you want.
Make sure all of the pics have a clickable enlarge feature. Currently, the nicest kit you offer (the Rogers) does not enlarge.
Bottom line - I love the site and I love the business model (from what I can see). By making GOOD players instruments available to the everyman, you are carving out your niche. Most seek the top market. You have hit on what others have thought about and have done privately. You've really got something here. I'll frequent it, for sure.
Love the Whitehall kit. Seriously.
Thanks for the kudos and tips.
McJ...yeah, man - holy crap...95% of the pics on the instrument pages are clickable....I didn't even realize the Rogers was unclickable ! Thanks....am sending a note to the web designer.
I will see if the recorder actually has a non-auto feature. It's just a Zoom Q3...fabulous little device....but not incredibly adjustable.
Yup...this was first-shot at the vid samples. I actually kinda like the chiaroscuro of the sax vids...I sorta wish all the others had come out that way, truthfully. I think they should be just a tad brighter, and the others significantly darker.
Future samples will have better visuals. I know it has one foot in the "pro-looking" and one foot in the "eh"....still.
Dunno if anyone here has tried launching their own site.....fookin' aye...it's a pain in the #ss, really...even with a good web-designer to help you.
Yeah, you know what sorta client I am going for. Personally...I think the reality is...those days of the vintage boutique sellers are coming to an end. The economy (nat'l and global) will 'recover' to a degree...but it will never get back to the craziness of 2005-2008. Nor should it ever. Those excesses hurt a lotta people and screwed our planet too.....time for some reality....
Again, thanks for the comments and criticisms.....
No matter what you do to record, It will never sound as good a live.
I deal with colors all day every day. I have real samples and I look at samples on the internet and they usually dont depict the tru color. You have done a hell of a job jaye, makes my website www.fisherautotrim.com look like premier APK shells. lol
