Just got this lovely set of E-bay - £140 for four. They have the Blue B badge and are in pretty decent condition. Seller says late 60's, and it must be only just 60's as sizes are international. I think they are in good shape for their age anyway! I've included a close up for badge/wrap detail. It's strange the gold wrap, it's got a kind of relief pattern, like the foil on champagne bottles!

Beautiful kit!! What a cool wrap!
Awesome...is the color more gold-ish like the first pic, or more silver-ish like the second ?
Thanks! The wrap is Gold, but I think flash washed it out a little on the second pic. All internal dampners intact too! Any idea what the wood is?

3 ply birch with solid beech re-rings!
Nice! I do like the birch sound - thought it looked too dark for maple but wasn't sure. Will let you know how it sounds - no rehearsal for a week though!

Well, gave these a battering today and they sound amazing! The bass drum is really something - it's even louder than my Tama Superstar '79, and that's loud! Great tone on everything too. I put the 13 in a two-down formation with the 16, and it tunes quite low and keeps the punch too.
I'd certainly recommend getting hold of a set of Blue badges from this era if you see any!
