Well I pretty much have mine done, still looking for a couple of parts but I think in general it's going to look really good.
This one had been painted black then someone wet sanded about a 1/4 of the paint off which left the wrap a little dull. It also had some overspray and splatter on the inside and on the hardware. I used a stripper to remove the paint and a 3m product and an orbital sander with a wool bonnet to polish the finish back to a really nice shine and then waxed it.
Ok...now for some tricks...Wanna get crud off of your hardware easily, use EagleOne wheel cleaner with a sponge or electric tooth brush. Eagle one makes a few wheel cleaners, use the Mag wheel cleaner for general parts and the Chrome wheel cleaner for chrome parts. I then use turtle wax chrome polish/rust remover for the final go, if you have any residue on the hardware use clear amonia to really make it shine!
