My vintage cymbal quest is complete. I got a 50's 22" thin sizzle at 2365g , a 20" new stamp k at 1767g, a 20" bebop ride (supposedly owned by barrett deems) and some thin 16" 60's hats.. here is a vid of 2 of my scores... And i have a vid of me playing all three if anybody cares to see it.

The new(old) hats arent here yet but here are the 3 rides with some Mehmet Turk Jazz 15".

I was just making stuff up as I went and felt off track a bit...especially when i finally got to the K and lost whatever i was doing. Left to right:

15" hats

20"k

22" sizzle

20" bebop

They all play nicely together, Ryan. I'm looking forward to hearing what you think of moving to 16" hats.

I can't wait to try the 16" myself. The weights are a teeny tiny bit lighter than the 15" you see in the vid. They sounded really smooth and smoky yet with a tight chick in the sound files i was provided. I love these Mehmets too and will have a hard time letting them go. They have really good low chick and open sound with a crispy articulation.. i scored the 16" from a DFO member that wanted the immaculate 22" trans stamp so we traded and he threw some cash to make it even

The 16" sound awesome but the 15" mehmets i have are tighter than any hats ive ever played...including all 14" and 13". I may have to keep both. I'm digging the low low pitch of the 16" and the feel is much better than other 16" ive seen.

Just got them today..but i can make a comparison video or soind and see what you guys think
