Ill Let you all know what the kit is all about if i win it. Im the highest bidder on ebay and i wont be paying over £50. The snare drum will just be tossed in the trash unless someone on here thinks its worth messing with. I dont clean junk. The rest of kit will be stripped to bare shells. Frame will be sold seperate as i think it will come up well. Ill let you all know if i win this kit. Apart from lots of MIJ spares, my premier spares could soon be on the increase soon.
Most f****d up Kit ever!
You could list the snare staring at $1 and see where it goes. Some student (or poor parent) might love to have it... Paying it forward do to speak. Or donate locally.

Hi Jim i have a couple of snares which if i win will be one in video plus a 6 lug gear 4 music. I would gladly give them away as you say on a zero start. I think its a great idea. I will keep all VDF members informed if i bring this kit home. I wont be paying much for it. I sent message to the guy and asked if cymbals were knocking about he said just what you see....
I would try to soak the snare in some Coca Cola for a day or so to remove the rust and then spray it with some Rustoleum spray paint. After it is "cleaned up" you could donate it to a young drummer or a school.
Ive had rusted drums before and yes you are right ill give it a whirl. It will be definitely given away if i win the auction. Im in the lead at £27GBP but £50GBP is my max as its a 400 mile round trip. I give lots of drums away just give a 4 piece knock together kit in good nik to a young kid. So im no stranger to handing stuff out especially sticks.
Hope you get them, I want to see how they clean up.
Thank you!

I have a star kit which is Chrome over wood. Not a plastic wrap but steel wrap. When i got that it was rusting. brought it back to life but all the lugs were breaking so ive decided to customise it as it sounds awesome. Ive never had a kit with a frame. Quite looking forward to this deal. Only down side is its in wales there are a lot of collectors there so i reckon a welsh man will jump on it. Ill give the welsh a good run for the money as i want it. The wife is already saying "where is that going to go"...Hahahahah ill put it in my cellar out of sight an work on it if i win the beast. I have drums all over the place. Got more 60's zildjians coming weekend which she dont know about.Help2
