Modern A vs. K Zildjians

Loading...

Welll I ended up picking up the K's and I love them. Everyday I switch on if I like the 16 or the 18 better. But they are strickly crashes. Neither one of them work as a ride. The 16 has a nice crash with a dark finish. The 18 is dark start to finish. They had a 20" ride to go with it, but I passed. It was a little too pingy for me. As luck has it these crashes go very well with one of my 60's A rides. So right now I have very happy with my cymbal set up, which I have been for a while. It didn't seem like what I had meshed together well. I'm still keeping my eye for a 20 or 22" K thin ride....who knows if it will fit in.

The more that I have tried out cymbals them more I have learned that bright and dark can vary from cycmbal to cymbal even in the same lines.
