Metal polishing products?

Hello!

I have a 1970's Supra with the usual pitting, flaking. I have heard tinfoil and coca cola can clean it up nicely. Also, tin foil with baking soda and water.

What would be a good compound to use on chrome other than the tinfoil method?

Also I just read another thread about NOB. I just got a 30's Ludwig&Ludwig 14x6.5 pioneer I want to clean/polish and I don't want to screw up!

I bought some nevr dull and have read good reviews for it on nickel. I've read autosol metal polish is good too.

I know you have to soak with soap (dawn), gently wash/dry then polish with soft cloth (cotton).

Any info would be appreciated! I'll post a few pics of the Pioneer!

+1 for Neverdull...Great wadding compound...I use it to remove glue/sticker residue as well...

Autosol metal polish for me... adds a good level of protection also..

I use Evaporust for parts that are annoying to deal with (strainers and such).

But for shells and lugs I use Quick-Glo (The fine version) it's amazing.

I've had great results on all surfaces with Flitz metal polish.

The best thing there is for metal Polishing is Paste Rouge. It is a buffing Compound that removes all dirt and debris from metal and last longer than any of the liquids and commercial polishing agents. It come for different metal in different grades so when you buy make sure it for the metal of your drum if brass make sure you buy it for brass. You find this product at any home depot or lowes Hardwares use with a drill and make sure you do it in the outdoors due to dirt it will produce
