Power has been fully restored to the Connecticut Data Center. The transitionfrom generator power to street power has been completed. We do apologize for the limited number of customers that did experience a problem with the initial transfer to generator power. As previously mentioned, this was caused by multiple power surges shortening the battery life of some UPS units, failing to hold the load when power did go out. All UPS units are being evaluated at this time. We appreciated your patience and understanding.

Our Connecticut Data Center experienced multiple power surges, which led to a complete outage. During the power fluctuations, some of the UPS's did not hold the load, which in turn, caused some servers not to properly transfer to generator power. Those servers were manually transferred and our System Administrators are working to reboot any failed machine. Since many servers have been up for extended periods of time, they may need disk checks. Our System Administrators are monitoring the progress and service will be restored on the isolated servers that experienced problems. We appreciate your patience and understanding at this time.
