Magic Mike's Mad Mondays - The Bonzo edition!!!!

Loading...

Magic Mike’s Mad Mondays has arrived and it is a Bonzo, as in Bonham, edition! Let’s get to it!
Drums:
Ludwig 12x15” Double-headed Clear Vistalite Tom – This Bonham-sized drum is in good condition and is ready to use right out of the box. It features the vintage 1970s Blue and Olive badge with the pointed corners. This drum is missing the internal felt muffler. The heads on this drum are good – Pinstripe on top and a clear Emperor on the bottom. Given its size, this is a very rare Vistalite Ludwig drum! NO RESERVE!!!

Ludwig 16x18” Double-headed Clear Vistalite Floor Tom – Another Bonham-sized drum and a big brother to the 15” above, this drum is in good condition and features the Blue and Olive pointed corner badge indicative of a manufacture date in the 1970s. This drum is missing the internal muffler. The heads on this drum are in very good condition – a clear Pinstripe on top and a clear Ambassador on the bottom. Given its size, this is a very rare Vistalite Ludwig drum! NO RESERVE!!!

Ludwig 8x12” Concert Tom Clear Vistalite – This drum is in good condition and has absolutely nothing to do with John Bonham! It is ready to use right out of the box but you may want to change the head to your choice!

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=170547399630&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT

Ludwig 14x22” Bass drum – Clear Vistalite – This drum is in good condition and only needs one t-handle tension rod to be ready to use! All parts are present and accounted for otherwise. The tom holder may need to be replaced as the tang, which holds the tom holder in place smoothly, is missing! Heads are a Remo Powerstroke 3 batter and a Remo Pinstripe resonant side. This drum has nothing to do with Bonham but is fairly rare – NO RESERVE!!!

1964 Ludwig 5x14” Super Sensitive snare drum, Keystone badge

This drum has nothing to do with Bonham! But is a 1964 Keystone badge Ludwig. While I realize that it isn’t a Supraphonic, you already has a slew of those and it is time to change it up with a Super Sensitive! And what better drum to choose to do it with than this one! This drum is amazingly all original right down to the heads. The muffler is the “baseball bat” style lever and the felt on the muffler itself is red. This drum has some light pitting and flaking but is otherwise in great condition. You may want to change the 46 year old heads on this one and I won’t blame you one bit! NO RESERVE!!!

Remo Roto Toms in the 6, 8, & 10” with factory stand

These drums(?) have nothing to do with Bonham! But we all know that the nostalgic return to the 1980s is right around the corner and what drummer wouldn’t be complete without these Roto Toms, a Mohawk and some parachute pants! I can’t help with the wardrobe or the hairstyling, but you can grab some Rotos right here and go all Neil Peart, Terry Bozzio, Phil Collins and Bill Bruford very soon! NO RESERVE!!!

Cymbals: – Not the best selection but a couple of rare ones here and there!
20” Zildjian 1970s Ride Cymbal – Most likely a Medium Ride, this cymbal is in good condition! No cracks or chips, but it does have a slight keyhole. NO RESERVE!!!

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=170547427623&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT

14” Trans Stamp Zildjian cymbal – 1940s or 1950s – A rare cymbal sporting the “Transitional” stamp thus indicating that is was produced in the 1940s or 1950s in the North American Zildjian plant. This cymbal has no cracks, chips or keyholes but hdoes have four holes for rivets in the bell of the cymbal. I can’t say for certain, but they do not appear to be homemade! Also, this cymbal has a strange patina to it but I don’t believe that it affects the sound. no reserve!

14” Zildjian Hollow Logo New Beat Hi Hat cymbal – This is most likely a top New Beat Hi hat cymbal, given its weight and the fact that the ink can be faintly seen on the top side of the cymbal. No clue as to the patina! No reserve!!

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=400159705067&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT

18” Zildjian Medium crash Okay….before you say that this cymbal is ugly (and I agree), this biggest selling point is that it is perfect for those jam nights where you are the host drummer and any idiot, who thinks he can play drums, gets to get up and bash away on your pride and joy Paiste Signatures, Zildjian K Customs or Sabian Evolutions. He can bash on this cymbal all he wants as you have packed you high-end cymbals away in your cymbal bag! This cymbal has had something strange done to it (if anyone can tell me what, please do so) and does have a crack in it In Excellent condition for jam nights (LOL)! No reserve!!

Parts:
Ludwig 781 Tom Holder, good condition! While this one isn’t in as good as shape as the 781 last week, it is still good tom holder with the only defect being that the shaft is a little marred up! It does feature the t-nuts on the angle adjustment for each tom and both L-arms are present – NO RESERVE!
