Ludwig USA Custom Fab Four Kit. Your thoughts? :D Last viewed: 1 hour ago

I just bought this Fab Four kit for $4500 (shell pack). I don't know any history of the kit / or Ludwig, just wanted to get some general thoughts.

It's a lovely sounding kit and I managed to pick up a 18" Paiste Traditional thin crash, so that goes well with it too...

Your thoughts?

Are they the new Legacy three ply shells or the Classic maple? Nice looking kit, whats the year?

I don't anything at all about this kit unfortunately. I only bought it in November 09 if that helps...

If it is the Legacy shells, it will have re-rings in the shells, at each edge, and in the middle of the floor tom & bass drums. The Classic Maples will be a bit thicker, and will not have the rings in them.
