When I did my repair,lube job ect.The pin had a plastic sleeve.Everything was done and I still had that squeak after about 5 minutes of playing. So I put it away for 4 years and used the Yellowjacket. I got the Speed King out 3 weeks ago and tried it and NO MORE SQEEK!! The drumming Gods looked after the pedal and made the sqeek disappear.It is bliss playing that pedal...V
