I looked in the 1980 catalog. There is a drum similar to yours but it has the Super-Classic throw off and there isn't an equivalent one offered with the P-85. The next catalog I have is from around 1982 and by then the 6.5" drums already have the bigger lugs.
Also I'm somewhat unsure when Ludwig started offering the 4 ply Super Classic shells. My memory seems to be the early 80's but I didn't see any mention in the 80, 82, or 84 catalogs (not that I looked really closely for that).
So...maybe an early Rock Concert snare specially ordered with a p-85 although it doesn't appear that the 4 ply shell was available on a ten lug drum at the time.
Maybe a later Rock Concert special ordered with the smaller lugs and a super classic shell 4 ply shell.
Or something that someone built themselves using various Ludwig parts (possibly even the shell itself).
If the badge were still there we could possibly zone in on the proper time frame (or at least know the era that the badge points to) and see what was offered at that time and if anything matches up.
With Ludwig it's hard to say anything definitive as, at that time, they were more willing to accommodate special requests. I'll have to do some additional digging and refresh my memory as to exactly when the four ply shells were offered on top of the line drums.
A bit of a puzzler....
