john(purdie shuffle) actually did the one in galaxy for me. it is the new galaxy reissue that Ludwig came out with a couple years ago. he did a great job on it. so much so that I added 60's hardware to it including cob rims and 60's heads. its a keeper.

the other I bought already done from a friend at dfo. the wrap was new old stock 70's sky blue pearl that came from allen blaemire via jerry Jenkins a few years back.

I really enjoy both of these drums.

Guys, interesting thread.

Did not know of the S/L Model.

Question: What does S/L stand for?

Thanks

Blaemire "Pearl"............ nice.

Yep,... that's what we used to call it before "wrap" came along.

S/L = Standard Line. The time frame was post Standard and pre Rocker.
