Does this drum look like it has mahogany its a 1969 3ply ludwig serial no starts with 766××× blue/olive badge.

The pic is out of focus - looks like the camera settled on the far end of the drum not the closer bearing edge...
But I don't really see a darker layer, so I think it's a maple-poplar-maple variant.

Well it is definitely Maple/poplar/maple the badge is one of the first blue/olive badge produced starting with 766xxx.
