Thanks for the info!!! You made my day. When I started thinking about serial numbers and mismatching drums that might be vastly different, I was very disappointed. I am quite the stickler and very picky when it comes to collecting. I am glad that they at least seem to be all very close, except for the one floor tom. Fortunate and yes, probably rare. I guess I was wondering if they did even exist, where as a kit had identical or at least numbers in some sort of sequence, i.e 890001, 890002

The only instance of this would be in the case(s) of:

-Some 1970 B/O badge kits that had NO serial numbers.

-And even further back were some pre-serial number keystone badges...but I digress. x-mas3

Okay Mr. O lug....I did some research and I guess there is no such thing as luck, or maybe a bit. The bass drum (877217) and the floor tom (864551) were purchased from the same seller and I can assume, were from the same kit. The tom tom (892079) was purchased from somebody else, but I did get it dated as a 1971 tom......cool!Jump For Joy
