Poppy. I have the wrap swatches kit from precision, you want the red sparkle. It will match dead on. This doesn't give you a good indicator. http://www.precisiondrum.com/Red_Sparkle_s.jpg
Ludwig Red Sparkle Find
It looks like the serial number on the badge on the bass is 922590 and the model number from the label you pictured is 922. That would be the correct model number for a 14x22 bass. The 9x13 is typically model number 944. I cannot read the serial number on the tom badge. Both badges are the earlier version of the Blue/Olive badge without the (R) trademark symbol. Although the exact nature of the Date Code stamped on the label (11717 in your case) is not yet known, they were used in the 1971-72 time frame. That time frame is consistent with the serial number that was readable and the style of badge.
Could you provide the serial number off of the tom please?

I would NOT rewrap the acrolite in red sparkle..You will ruin the tone of the drum and it's original and "collectable" state.. Plus gluing a wrap on on aluminum shell is not only annoying and difficult, but impractical..
This is just a suggestion, although i know what i'm talking about since i've rewrapped kits before.. Never tried to wrap over a metal shell snare drum, and i would assume if you haven't either, you will have a difficult time..
I got these about a year ago. totally ruined by water. They were left in the back of a pick up, in their cases in the back yard for years. Through rain, show, texas heat, etc... I gave 200 for all of them. he supra was worth that. Now I may use some of the badges

I don't remember ever saying I was gonna wrap the acro. I have a 16" floor tom and a Luddy standard wood snare shell i plan to wrap in the red sparkle. You don't rewrap a acrolite or a supra, you get it rechromed, like it did to this one check this out >> http://www.vintagedrumforum.com/showthread.php?t=19111&highlight=acro
