Ludwig "New Speed Pedal"

Loading...

From Brewkowski

Well, it took me long enough but here is a better photo of the broken part on the bottom. Any idea of how to fix it?

I remember seeing an infomercial one night after a gig for alumalloy, or something like that name anyway, that would be perfect to fix this. You use a propane torch and this rod and melt it to the broken part, and voilla! Fixed aluminum castings! Maybe worth a shot......

Also, I love that the pedal says "Kisenger" on the bottom of it......was they guy you bought the drums from named Henry by chance? LoLoLoLo

Hey, are you still working on this ol' dog? I have one in the basement...I wouldn't be averse to selling some parts for (really) a modest fee.

OR, may be able to scheme something up with you!

thanks bfulton! when I get around to doing something with it ill contact you. I know for sure the foot base needs repair, and its missing the support rod from there to the front of the pedal. Everything else works from what I can tell. Ill be in touch

The New Speed's spring is mounted inside the frame "T". I think you're right Mike... given what's seen printed on the pedal....

Very cool.
