Ludwig Pioneer (30s) Strainer Not Staying Put

Hi all,

I recently inherited a COB Ludwig Pioneer from the 1930s. It sounds amazing. However, the strainer does not hold the snare wires engaged very well when I play it. Any kind of vibrations and it eventually slips out of place, turning it into a timbale. Any suggestions?
