I have for sale here 4 Mark Time Shells. They measure 12x8, 13x9, 16x16, and 22x14. This is for the 4 shells only!

http://i51.photobucket.com/albums/f379/matthewhenry22/2012-02-17113027.jpg - Floor tom, that brown spot on the left by the cross sticker thing is a reflection. Also at the top that's the reflection of the light, the wrap isn't faded anywhere. Which you'll be able to see in the next picture:

I absolutely love the inside of these drums and have done everything to convince the Mrs. to let me keep them but to no avail. I have to move into an apartment soon for at least the next 2-3 years and won't have any room for these. I already have 3 other kits, and I don't want to store anything. I honestly would keep these over any of my kits, even my custom one. I absolutely love the inside of these shells and the inside of these are in near perfect condition. The wrap though has some marks and stuff that you can see in the picture and some bubbling. If I were to keep these, I was going to re-wrap them, but only because I'm not a huge black drums kind of guy. I have owned multiple black drum sets the last few years and it's just not my thing, I like a little color. Anyways, the bubbling isn't terrible by any means and with some TLC you could EASILY keep these things exactly how they are with the wraps already on.

Alright so, let me know what kind of questions you have. I really hope someone will take these off of my hands. I am not setting a price on these, so send me an offer. I will take the best offer that I get.

Here's a link to my ebay so you can see I'm legitimate: http://myworld.ebay.com/mjulian22

Paypal is preferred!

Just hit me up with offers on here and thanks for looking!

Ludwig Mark Time were made in 1984 for sure, and I'm not really sure they were made any other time. I'm no expert on them that's for sure. Here's a link to show you what they looked like and where they were in a Ludwig catalog: http://www.vintagedrumguide.com/images/ludwig_sets/1984_ludwig_drumsets26.jpg

That black drum set on the bottom is what these things would have looked like brand new. It says they were an economy kit that used 3-ply die-mold shells.

84' Standards. Granitone interior. On the plus side, no rivets in the seams. If anyone is interested in these shells, they will take Ludwig Standard or Classic lugs. All hardware that fits the high end Ludwig kits, will fit on these shells too.

I wonder what kind of wood was used to create these 3-ply 'die-molded' shells? Anybody know? Maple/poplar/maple???? The bearing edges look like 45's too which is unusual for Ludwig at that time I think. Standard bearing edges were 30 degree round-overs. The edges on these shells look more like the Rogers 45 degree edge. If the edges are 45's, these drum shells will project like champs.

(If) I was going to buy them for a project, (and I'm not,) I would add rock maple re-rings to the shells. I don't have to tell you what 3-ply maple shells with maple re-rings sounds like, do I?

I think they are a lot like corinthian leather in a an old Chrysler, nothing more than a marketing term.

Huge bump for these shells. Really wanting to get them out of the house and to someone who will use them and appreciate them. Not looking to get much out of them, just want a fair offer and someone to take them to make good use of them!
