I like the 6.5 classic,and I don't see any stinking gaskets under the lugs.I wonder how they compare in sound to my 65 acro?Milled center bead?I thought it was part of the spun shell process,and done with a roller,and a die.Milled sugests an endmill,and a milling machine.AAhhhh Ludwig.Steve B

Those shells look "spun" to me...the bead looks like it's rolled in...not milled. My guess is that whoever wrote up the specs got confused on the process.

I do not like the look of the brushed HW on the Acrolites. It takes away the classic look completely.

Although i have to say i am curious about the sound, especially of the 6,5", the prices are just another reason to stick to the old, classic, vintage Acros.
