Help...which one???

I need a spare hard felt beater for my 1969 Ludwig Speed King. Not sure if the original is the 1283 or 1286. Before I shell out $20 I want to get one like the original. So, 1283 or 1286? Help on Difference? Which one? Dont see any used ones for sale.
