From backbeatkeeper

I found mine at Harbor Freight, I use it for tumbling coins and things I find with my metal detector. I tried it for the first time on these and was very please with the results. Tumbler runs less than $50.00.Here's the shell after Novus 1. The amount of fade is not that bad, when everything is covered, it will look nice. I may go over the shell with Novus 2 on a small area to see if it changes the fade much.

I thought you used Novus in descending order>3,2,1...with most people omitting 3?

I generally don't use 2 or 3 unless the wrap is really bad. I rarely use 3 that's for sure. I shine 'em up first then test on a small area to see if I can make it better with 2.

Another shot of the drum with hardware polished and snare side mounted. Still waiting for my Ludwig 14" coated to be delivered. Going all Ludwig on head with this beauty.

She's done and 95% original. 4 x 14 with NOB hardware, red felt beater, white interior. Heads, snare cords, 2 tension rod washers and one bolt assembly for the throwoff are the only things not original. Thanks to VintageDrumBug for this snare in a trade.

Kudos to Novus, Blue Magic, DeWalt and Mr. Ludwig
