I just wanted to show the 90's Ludwig Classic Maple kit I recently bought on cl. I know it's not vintage yet, but it's not far off and one day I believe these kits will be sought after. The charcoal stain finish is gorgeous.

I use to use these sizes exclusively back in the 80's and I'd forgotten how much fun they are to play. This Classic Maple kit tunes up easily and the toms sing even on the module tom mounts. I'm going to use at our gig this Saturday night. It's small, but it really packs a punch.
