Can you buy new Classic Lugs? I am always searching for used ones and can usually get them for $3-5 but I started wondering if I can buy them brand spanking new and what they would cost if so.
That would save a lot of effort in having to find "good ones."

yes, they are on new ludwig kits now, any ludwig dealer can get them for you,

curtis, they also are not like the originals in appearance yes, but the internals are completely different, they don't have springs inside them, they have plastic sleeves that hold the lug Insert in place.
I don't mind some pitting and rashes on my old drums. It proves that they're the real deal, like a scarred up old prize fighter that can STILL kick your ass. If I want my drums to be minty fresh, I should buy a reissue kit.Soap Box
