From Mr.Toast

I wouldn't recommend bleeding-out as a negotiations tactic, but I think it worked in my favor this time.

HA! Great line, great story... glad it worked out well for you!!!

We all love a great rescue!!

Nice work - and a great story for your daughter to embellish to your future grandchildren - 'Let me tell you about the time Grandpa got beat up by some young punks doing a drum deal...."

I had two 6 ply kits,a late 70`s cow,and an 84,the cow weighed as much or more than a son or phonic ,the cow kit I had thicker shells than the 84,a little over 3/8 " THICK. Your look like they did not have a lot of scratches.nice Find, good story.

Thanks to all who read and commented! It was a lucky find, and even if I move them along to a new owner I will always have the scar on the bridge of my nose to remind me of it. I think it makes me look tough too. I guess I wouldn't be lying if I told people I was hit by a COW. :)

Stop stringing and tuning your instrument, make music now.
