Ludwig Blue Marble drums

Loading...

I am looking for some additional Ludwig Blue Marble drums to add to my kit. I know these don't come up too often, but figure I would throw it out there.

My sizes are 12x11, 13x12, 16x16, 22. I really would like to pick up a 10" and 14" toms, and possibly a snare. I may also be open to 12" and 13" toms if they are shorter depths than what I have.

My drums are 4 ply Super Classic drums.

Please let me know what you have. I am open to a straight out purchase or trades, as I have a lot of cymbals, some snares, etc.

Here are some pictures of my drums.

Thanks!

Hi Wayne. Thanks for the heads up!

I actually picked up that sellers 16" this week and am waiting on it to arrive. I already had a 16", but figured I could use another one with additional tuning until I got lucky and found a 14". Or, worse case I could act like Buddy with 2 16" floor toms. Although, my playing would never be considered similar to his, unfortunately.

I thought about swapping out my 12 and 13 for his since mine have the Modular mounts on them, but mine have a lot more detail on the finish with more white in the drums than the sellers, and they would not match as nicely with my bass which also has a lot of the white detail.

I actually picked up the 18" a few weeks ago from your tip, and dummy me didn't pick up on the fact that the 18" has the classic lugs instead of the mach lugs. I probably would have bought it any way since the finish is so rare. I don't think the holes would line up for a swap out for mach lugs without drilling for new ones and plugging the old ones.

I am still looking for a 8", 10", 14",and 18' toms for now.

I recently picked up a 2nd 16" floor tom to use as a placeholder until I find a 14" and also an 18" NOS with the classic lugs. Still looking for a 10", 14, 18" all with the long Mach lugs.......

Thanks for looking out for me Wayne. That actually is the seller I bought my 2nd 16" floor tom from.

I thought about buying his 12" and 13" and swapping mine out, but my bass and floor tom have more white in them and would not match quite as nicely as what I have. I figure I can sort of hide and turn the 2nd 16" floor tom for now, but the rack toms are front and center.

Thanks for the note!
