I thought this board was about helping out fellow drummers? I mean, if youre offended, my bad, I guess. but, like most here, my name has more to do with playing drums than beating animals. its only a negative reference if you view it as such.

hasn't anyone ever heard the saying don't judge a book by its cover?

Yep. This section of the forum is for drummers to help out other drummers. Judging a book by its cover is still not wise. But, choosing the screen name that you chose conjures up negative images for me, and I imagine many other people. Now, if your name is supposed to whimsically connote a seal who is clubbing a person, that is different. But, I fail to see any humor in that.

No matter how far you push the envelope, it is still stationery.

well apologies for the negative images. again, not what im wanting to get across with the name. but if you nor anyone else has a problem with the people on this site that play calf or kangaroo skins, I would hope you would grant me the same patience.
