FYI a Gretsch 60s catalog in good condition sells for 100.00++ each if you can fine them..Mikey

Was Gretsch like they are today with catalogs? They haven't printed a new drum catalog since 2008. They did put out a sort of 'what's new' flyer this year, but no catalog.

No they printed yearly catalogs, like the other big guns, a lot stayed the same in the catalogs, they would use old pics from previous years, but they at least did put them out. I own a few of them, and as mikey stated they will set you back a few bucks!

Your drummers not much good is he!? What you need is someone that's as good as me. ! John Henry Bonham !!

I got a bunch of old ones when I got my first Ludwig kit. I sold a few to VDF- Master David to help his collection on here. The coolest one I remember reading was a Ludwig drummer, where it talked about the history of the Timpani player. Going back to old times when you apprenticed at the age of 7 to learn the instrument, and you had to learn various pieces of music to perform for the king! It was a great read! I wonder if I still have it?!
