here are the tools I used to do the metal work. a metal pipe cutter, and the tap and die kit to cut the 12/24 threads, and a Evans drum key to turn the t-rod while cutting the threads. and lots and lots of elbow greese.
Hey Vintagemore2000..A tip that i have used many time's on re-threading T-rods..I put the die in a vise then take a old drum key cut of the top-{the t end}..Then i use this for a drill bit and useing alot of cutting oil re-cut the threads...It make's the work go alot faster....Mikey
