Paiste Power Ride...OK, but what series ? Could be a Rude, or a 2002, or even an older 2000 or 3000 at that. That could be worth $150+. Or it could just be an Alpha, in which case, $85-100. The 'hats, worth maybe $20.

...hecka confusing kit, however. B/O Badge bass drum...am even wondering if it is a natural finish or a wood-looking wrap ? What do you mean "overlay" ? FT badge is different. Have no idea what the racks are badged (?)

But hell, $300 for all, really ? Yes, it's worth it. Even if you just cannibalize the hardware....that plus the Paiste and the snare is already worth well over $300....

If I got that kit, you know what I'd do with it ? Make it a one-up/two-down....... by turning that big mo-fo 14" rack into a floor tom. Hmmm...then....I might even be inclined to cut down the 13" rack to a 9" depth (may actually fall a tad - 1/4"-1/2" - short of 9" deep if you choose to avoid the original lug holes, but what the heck...).

Those are worth the money. They are the thicker shells and have a very different sound than the 3 ply kits. Good sounds but a very different feel. You really should play them at least once in your lifetime.

My understanding is the 3 pc is a wrap, the FT looks like real wood, and it is a NC badge from what I can see. So I should scrape up the bucks? Cleaned up, could they bring 500? They are B/O badged, except for the FT.

If you could turn the cymbal alone for +$100, and turn the snare for $125....I would guess you could definitely turn the cleaned-up kit 4 pcs. for $300 (heck I bet the FT is worth over $100 alone).

The Paiste Cymbal is stamped PAISTE 008340 It also has printed 2002 Trade Mark Made In Switzerland.

I had a luddy kit the same finish as the kick and two toms bought in 1977,that finish looks like mahogany cortex,which is like a formica covering,really tough and hard to scratch,the toms I had looked to be the same sizes,they were 14 and 15 the 15 was 12 or 13 deep.

These are 13 & 14. I am going to try to grab them this weekend. After a good cleaning, they will be for sale some where....
