And i am looking for an older 1970s OR early 1980s old Zildjian A 18 inch or smaller china type cymbal ....

Lots and lots of options - just not sure if any of these are earlier than the 80s. You just need to know where to look.
My advice would be to check out the newer ones as well, as they are less expensive and you would be surprised how good they can sound.
