This may or may not interest you, but this is a nice set. Sounds like he may cut a better deal outside of Ebay. You could sell the 12 and 18 and have a killer 13 16 20. I imagine that 18 would bring some serious cash!

Just noticed the wrong tom mounts on toms. Does red sparkle bring this kind of money?

If you know Mark Freeman, I suppose it could be a meaningful enough find to pursue it. Generally speaking, the price is nearly double what one might expect for that set. In addition, $350 to ship from NJ to MA is triple the actual cost if packed efficiently. So I'll have to let that one pass.

As to the mounts, those look like legitimate mounts. Rogers did have the diamond plate version available for use with a special swivomatic tom arm that had a spade on the upper end. That was one means to improve sales to owner's of other brands. For example, you could add a mount to a Gretsch bass but not have to drill for the tom too. I don't think many were sold, but I've seen a few over the years.

Good luck finding a factory matched 20, 12, 14. That's a tough one! But they show up sometimes.

Thanks for the head's up on Century and Olympic TDK, and yes AtlantaDrumGuy, the 20,12,14 configuration doesn't show up too often, but I did had one twenty years ago.

I like the red sparkle as well in the Rogers. I have blue and red onyx kits. My prized Rogers kit is the Holiday 20, 12, 14 blue onyx which I found a few months ago.
