Looking for Ludwig Vistalite Parts

Loading...

I took apart my toms to quiet the rattling mufflers and realised I need a couple parts for one of them.

First thing is one of the soft pads that goes between the lug and the shell. Looks like maybe it's rubber or some kind of neoprene? My Vistalites are clear and the pads are light grayish in color.

The other thing I need is a washer for one of the tuning bolts. It goes between the bolt and the rim.

That's it! Does anyone have either or both of these items or know where I could find them?

Thanks a lot,

Jon

I went on Ludwig's website, and couldn't find any way to call them. Would I have to order parts through a dealer?

You can also use string (or window blinds cord) and wrap the area between when the actually muffler connects to the metal mount. those are notorious for being loose and rattling when you strike the drum... the string will act as a buffer between the metal pieces. I believe that forum member Purdie Shuffle recommends this. worked for me a while back!
