That's about half of what I'd have priced that kit for resale, tbh. It will be a bargain to anyone who has money...and the room for such a kit (which people who have lots of money tend to also have).

Consider that a Gretsch RB 18" bass bop kit in decent shape will sell for around $10K.

Tire-kickers and bargain hunters will cry about high prices...but those types never intend to actually buy anything. Certainly a kit like this is out of their lane. But, it's not out of everyone's scope.

It's either that people are unhappy about high prices, or they are unhappy about the values of their vintage drums being too low. Take your pick.

Black Beauties, alone, go for over $10K...old K's go for thousands...the list goes on.

If and when big "monster" kits come back into fashion, a kit like this Gretsch kit will be near the top of the desirable heap. Plus, that many drums in an extremely rare finish?....just sayin'...
