Looking for an original 20" Slingerland Bass Drum Head

Loading...

I was wondering if anyone has an original '60's Slingerland 20" BD head that they'd like to part with.

Please let me know if you do.

Thanks!

Bump for a drum head

I've got a complete 60's 20" bass drum set...batter/resonant. The reso head has the small "Slingerland" logo and the batter head has the very small "Slingerland Soundking" logo, plus the built-in muffler strap! Again, these are original 60's heads and are not perfect. There are wear marks, scuffed coating, etc. If interested, I can take pictures and post them tomorrow.

Here are pictures of the better heads on my 1967 kit, which will give you an idea of what they look like. The other set I have is identical, but don't look as nice!

I am interested but I really only want the resonant head.

Can you post some pictures?

Send me a PM or email with your asking price.

Thank you!

Steve

PS...I LOVE the silver sparkle Slingys. I have a BDP and I'm building a mahogany kit, but I'm sure a silver sparkle is in my future someday when I can scrounge up some cash.

Hi Steve!

Hope you are well. I have one if you are still looking. Needs a good cleaning up and has slight wear on it.

Thanks!

Hey Steve! After further review, it's actually a larger script one from the 1970s, not a small script one from the 1960s. Sorry about that! Thanks.
