I just measured my tom and it's a 9x13 not an 8x12 so I need 13" rims.

I bought the set off of ebay and it was listed as a 20" bass and a 12" tom. When I went to buy heads I double checked and they're 13".

I measure outside to out side right? It's a little bit under 13" but its definetly not 12".

Not sure what COB, NOB or COS means. The set is from 1964.

COB = chrome over brass, NOB = nickel over brass and COS = chrome over steel. Brass hoops are usually more desirable and usually cost more. Steel hoops are stronger.

I'm new here so sorry for not knowing that...duh...

These new drums are from '64, what would have been used back then?

brass rims stick savers. oyu can get brand new ones they aren't factory but since it is a players kit it will not matter. http://www.drumfactorydirect.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=6_7_652
