Logos for BD Heads - a great source

Loading...

I imagine, like most everyone, the final touch to our vintage kits is the branding of the kit. Specifically the manufacturer's logo that was so predominantly displayed on the bass drum in the past. Trying to find a vintage head with the logo is almost next to impossible so I have found a great resource that makes reproduction logo's at a very reasonable price, and has quite a few of them available. The gentleman, Marshall is on eBay and goes under the name Barrhavendrumguy:

"I am an experienced graphic artist, and vintage drum enthusiast, combining my interests to research, and recreate vintage drum logos from around the world."

So, if you're looking for a repro logo to finish off your kit I highly recommend Marshall !

And I found out that he is a VDF Member . . . Daddynowhere

I've ordered from him before. Great job and he leaves you a personalized "thank you" note.

But not worth it for me to buy through ebay, as 2 logos cost me over $20 because of shipping fees..

My province is the most expensive in Canada for taxes.

I recently discovered a printing and graphics sign place about a 5 minute walk from my home.

Repro logos cost just under $18 for 2 and are sometimes done on the spot

if he's not too busy.. Can't get any better than that !
