Little Video Clip from Friday

Loading...

So the blues band I play with has an " alter " ego called SRH ( Stevie Ray Hendrix ) and as you guessed it - all covers of mainly those greats. One of the guys shot a little clip from House Is A Rockin'. Using my 60s' Tempro, looks and sounds great.

Have another video with one of my little solo's, have to see if I can link that in here somehow.

Thanks Brother! Interestingly enough we went on after Kofi Baker's psychedelic Experience. So Him and his band watched 90% of out set before they had to head out.

Nice playing. Bet that was a work out. Kinda like playing Zepp's Rock N Roll. What kit is that?

The kit is a 1960's Tempro ( Pearl kit ) The snare is a 1960's Star that I re-wrapped in Orange Sparkle, though I do have a matching snare for the kit. 20" bass,12" tom, 16" floor tom. 14" A Zildjian hats ( 50s' / 60s' era ) 70s' Zildjian Light Ride 22", Sabian XS 18" Crash and 18" XSR Thin Crash. The workout came yesterday actually. We went from one show with a solid hour set right to another gig that was about 4 hours lol.

Hey Jay

Great clip and some great chops brother D' Drummer

You gotta let me know when your playing out when I'm in CT so I can come see you. The 1960's Star snare that you showed me ( the one re-wrapped in Orange Sparkle) sounds fantastic! Catch you in about 2-weeks

Michael
