It all worked out well in the end and your mate has got a good un their!!

[SIZE="4"]Here's an added 14" Del Rey floor tom w/matching wrap and a Wuhan 16" crash, 18" crash/ride and Sabian 13" AA regular hats for now. I'd like to jack up that snare stand a little so it's more comfortable for me to play. I've unscrewed a hi-hat rod, flipped it upside down and used it for the bass mounted cymbal arm. The floor tom has one lug upside down right now with only one screw holding the lug and a t-handle style tension rod. Maybe whenever I get 7 more 6 1/2" tension rods I will install the reso hoop & head and a bass drum riser too. Cool thing for fun.[/SIZE]

Thanks diamond, just ordered the parts a few days ago, cut down the 6.5" tension rods about a 1/4"...worked good. ;) Now the next project is to find and or make a 12" FT, move the 14" back and make it kinda like a restricted growth Bonham kit...lol

Beautiful looking kit! I love this Agate wrap (either in blue or orange the most).

Can you make the bass drum sound 'seriously punchy' instead of sounding like a badly tuned floor tom?

And what's about the sound of the 'snare brushes'?

Hi Ralf.....the Bass drum sounds as good as a 16" can sound with the SuperKick I. (Which is pretty nice) The snare is cranked tight ( I'd have to take the brackets/tension rod guides off to crank it tighter) and needs a little muffling with a moongel or equivalent.
